Question regarding alcohol!

Hi!

I was wondering if two little bottles of 50 mL, 40% alcohol/vol whiskey (Crown Royal, Jack Daniels, etc.) is stronger, or if those Smirnoff flavoured vodka with 355ml altogether pack of four at 7% alcohol is stronger? They both cost around $10 from any liquor shop, but with the vodka, you get more quantity, whereas the whisky as 40% alcohol.

The reason I ask is because me and my buddy want to open up before we approach some people so we want to have high energy without being hammered. Enough to make us laugh, but not enough to get us severely drunk. No one will be driving.

You fool. Its not safe to drink under age. The government will slip an rfid chip in your drink because they know you aren't going to go running to a cop and tell him you've been drinking illegally. Why would they do this? So they can moniter your brain waves to find out when your most susceptible to input. Evetually they will corrolate commercials with your thought patterns so they can culture you into voting liberal when your old enough. If you've already been drinking its not too late. For a small fee I can make you a baseball cap from stainless steel. Its more fasionable so you its less obvious that your evading the government. I know what your thinking right now. Your saying I can just make one from tin foil. That's none sense. Just more thought control injected into the mind of conspiricy theorists so that you'll think your safe. Believe me. I've seen the dark underworld of the governing body and it smells of lies. You can only protect yourself.

40$ for 750ml at 95%.... =712ml of alcohol.... for only 40$!!

That would be the equivalent of buying 41 bottles of beer, it will go a long long way. Plus, if you mix it with lemonade (Santa Cruz), you can't even taste the alcohol in the drink......

(2)50mL x 40% = 100mL x 0.4 = 40mL alcohol

(4)355mL x 7% = 1410mL x 0.07 = 99mL alcohol

Girly drinks will get you more drunk. But Ive never seen 50ml that cost $5. A 26 of anything is 15x the size and will cost 5 or 6 times what you listed. And take it a little bit easy if you have no idea how to drink.

I am 21 but not much of a drinker. I also mentioned that I don't want to get hammered. Just enough to lighten up. Vodka and whisky are different so I believe numbers are not the only focus but the effect of whisky and vodka. Since I have never had all four bottles of vodka, I was wondering.

I want to drink to be more open, but not appear drunk to anybody else. I will take the bus but at the same time want to be capable enough not to embarrass myself.

My budget is around $10 so I gave the two options. I know neither can get me seriously hammered but wanted some opinions.

On a slightly more helpful note, I highly agree with the posters above. All new drinkers should stick to beer. For you, dosage is probably one beer if before a meal, two beers if after eating.
