Pizza Hut not honoring my Pizza Order

Fucking terrible. Fellow beyonder gave me a promo code, says it's a huge sale on Pizzas at Pizza Hut. I'm a Pizza 73 guy, and was about to order dinner, and so I decided to give Pizza Hut a try. Ordered it, sure enough it's real. Even have confirmation and receipt.

5 mins later get a call from Pizza Hut refusing to fulfill my order, says it's an online glitch. I explained I have a receipt here, and they're refusing to honor it. They called back to the manager, call me back and confirmed my order is cancelled. I have the phone recordings cuz they called my work phone.

I always love a discount, first time I've experienced this. Terrible. Ordering from Pizza 73 now. I'd rather pay more money than to support fucking Pizza Hut.

Of course TomCo gets his pizzas and sends me pics to rub it in haha.

Not even a crazy discount. Brutal. We just got a new Pizza Hut and I was planning on trying it out this week, but if that's how they do business maybe I better stick to Canadian 2 for 1

It's not even about the money. Why the hell are you sending out promo codes if you won't order 'em. I'd rather order full price @ Pizza 73.

Not surprised at all. Pizza Hut Canada has by far the worst website and IT staff of any large company I have ever seen. It is laughable how bad it is, almost to the point of being unusable. If you look on their facebook, it is complaint after complaint about how crappy the site is and this has been going on for 2+ years. For a while they were doing monthly facebook exclusive specials and almost every single time the deal would fail to work due to technical issues. There are even blogs about how much it sucks:

Pizza hut sucks anyways. You're better off not eating it, no matter what the supposed discount would have been. I imagine you would have gotten some "special" seasoning even if they had honoured it.

Pizza 73 is just about the lowest quality pizza you can get outside of the Totino's freezer section at Walmart. There's got to be a non-chain place nearby that has better pizza. For instance, if you're near Crack Mac's then you'd be way better off ordering from Pizza Bob's or Michael's etc.

Here is an article about a promotion Pizza Hut Canada corporate ran during college exam week a couple years ago. Unfortunately they failed to notify any of the actual individual franchises so they were completely overwhelmed and not able to keep up to demand which resulted in lots of pissed off customers.

I used to order pizza hut quite a bit, better sauce but over all quality would be pizza 73, they always honor promos and their pizza doesn't look like it's been offroading before it gets to my door. domino's on the other hand stepped their shit up, used to fucking HATE their pizza haha

I dont know, if you're in the south end of Calgary, Sammy's is hard to beat, but Im super thankful I have Spiros just blocks from me. Best Pizza in the 403 in my opinion.

Yeah I'm a bit further North. Haven't had a chance to try Spiros yet due to the cost of it compared to most other places.

Pizza Hut is def bottom of the barrel for me. Only time we order it is when we have kids over. They seem to love it. That's gonna change.

Honestly, only reason I ordered it was for the promo price to try out that sriracha chicken pizza. Their site is still fucked, still showing same price. That would make it illegal according to the competition bureau.
