    why is anyone buying these 'ojocams'? they are just rebranded mini 0801 or 0803's, which you can find on ebay for significantly less than what they sell for from ojocam. especially now that there are 0806's available.

    nobody said anybody is still buying them, but we are still here talking about them and trying to help people if they have problems/questions...

    if you hadn't noticed, this thread is nearly a year old, of course there are newer versions out, it is technology....

    when did i say anything about upgrading? i've had my 0801's for well over a year now and maybe if you guys did some research beforehand you would have found that they are more expensive copies/rebrands of a different product.

    So my pro2 is turning off on it's own after about 5 minutes. I haven't touched it or changed any settings. If I noticed, I can turn it back on by hitting the power button and then it seems to run.

    Any ideas? I sent an email to Larry, no response after 2 weeks.

    Is the Ojo recognizing your memory card? When I first got mine I forgot to plug the card in and it would shut-down after 5 minutes. I was so confused then realized it just auto-shots off if it's not recording anything (with no memory card.) Check to see - card might even be corrupt and it's not being recognized?

    Mine does something similar but it restarts itself after a period of time. I called the support and the only advice I keep on getting is formatting the SD card in the camera. If I say I did that then they tell me to format it in my computer.

    what card are you using? i'd try a different card to see if that helps, i have had these issues with some brands of card.

    yeah i don't blame ya, just make sure if you look at the 0806's you make sure the one you buy is legit, some really bad clones out there, i think my next dashcam will be dront and rear, maybe even android so i can put automatic upload on with dropbox so i dont have to ever remove it from the car.. whenever it hits wifi, it uploads


    this one is actually pretty tempting, i just wish soemone would make one that has a rear waterproof cam so it can be mounted outside because most cars have privacy glass.

    Any of you guys get a response back from Ojocam?

    My Ojocam Pro2 I bought in March of this year has started randomly turning off. I've done the recommended steps of formatting the SD card and resetting the camera back to factory settings but it hasn't helped. I'm running a 32GB Samsung SD card which I puchased from them with the camera. I raised the issue with them and now waiting for a response.

    My battery has gone to shit as well. Keeps enough power to know the time, but it lasts about 15 seconds without being powered.

    My time keeps resetting every single time after I set it Always at 14:00 when it's actually 16:00..

    Two year bump, but has anyone found a fix for the Pro2 randomly turning off? Mine has started to do that a lot lately...e-mailed Ojocam, but never got a response. Using the Samsung SD card that came with the camera, tried formatting the card and resetting to factory.

    At this point, I'm just going to stick it out with this thing until it dies completely, lol.

    i had some issues witht he connection between the base and the camera, i just plugged the usb direct to the camera.
