i LOVE this car. it is exactly what i would want. i will buy it, maybe not immediately, but someday soon. i even went to the porsche dealer to check it out. crazy demand so far, they've taken pre-orders on 50 already... earliest delivery date is May 2015

the model i would be most interested in is the diesel. already released in europe, making it's way to the american market early next year... price point isn't so bad either, for the S or S diesel you're looking at $70-75k all in with every single possible option... imagine if you could pick up a demo or 1 year used. turbo is $100k+

Saw a white one on Macleod near heritage last sunday. Not sure if I'm feelin' the black sideblades yet...but regardless it looked pretty slick. I find myself gravitating to a small SUV or wagon more and more these days (any news on the GLA?)

i know someone who has driven one at an event in Ontario. Overall driving impressions are really good, and you can do some lightweight towing with them too.

Probably means earliest available delivery date if you order now is May 2015

I actually saw 4 or 5 Macans on Deerfoot a couple months back with Ontario plates.

The launch event for the Macan was on May 28th/29th and I was in attendance. Demand for the vehicle has been very strong with deliveries trickling in at a snails pace here in Calgary. We placed our order for one last month, with an expected delivery sometime close to the end of the year.

Since then, many more buyers have plunked down deposits, with an expectation of receiving their vehicles in Q1 of 2015. Within a few weeks, a delivery of May 2015 or later doesn't seem out of the realm of possibilities.

Demand on the GLA is pretty weak right now, because nobody has seen it yet. This will change when they arrive. The GLA looks least like a SUV and offers the most passenger room in this segment. I'm thinking of getting the AMG model.

Check out the B class if you want a reference on interior space. It's nearly the same except for rear trunk room due to the hatchback slope.
