The whole irony of that, given his username, is just awesome!

    I don't think it's laziness.

I would definitely think the costs and the shortage of ice times are the major hurdles.

Minor hockey: spend 15k a year on your kid, just to get up at 4.30am every saturday and drive halfway across the goddamn province every month or so.

minor soccer: spend $500 a year on your kid and hang out on a local-ish field and watch swarmball for 2 hours a weekend

If you take anything I have to say seriously, you're gunna have a bad time.

Playing soccer is fine. Grown men watching soccer and pissing their pants and screaming because a ball goes in a net on TV? Gayest thing I've ever seen.

Considering I grew up in England and never heard it called 'Soccer' until I moved to North America id still be inclined to call bollocks.(but I'm forgetting that if the 'net' says its true then it must be)
Football was only ever a reason to beat the living shit of out the opposing fans.

She's the one who said back in 2010 that all Muslims should ride their magic carpets to get around because they weren't worthy of flying on airplanes, and when someone called her out on this BS, she said they could ride a camel instead.

I'm honestly hoping my boys don't take an interest in hockey. But my not-even-2-year old is already showing signs. "Hockey! Hockey!". Uh oh.

If your kid plays for any of the bigger clubs in Calgary, Blizzards, SWU etc you can pay anywhere from $1000 to $2000 with all the fees, training etc. Its not that cheap. But its also alot more accessible than Hockey. At least the kids are out doing something.

Also this chick is moron. She's really just a personality like Stephen Colbert, but many people actually take her at face value.. mostly idiot conservatives and religious types. From alot of the posts on Beyond lately shes probably the idol of some here.

How is that any different than a small round piece of rubber going in a net, or a touchdown in football?

I swear she is anti-men. Anything men related she goes on a wild rant.

Sometimes I feel the urge to head butt her in the chest like Zidane did.

Haha, what a moron. Begins with saying that soccer takes long (and it takes less time than every American sport to play a game). Of course, when did Ann Coulter ever care about facts?
