Did anyone notice the earmuff kid was back to wearing his Canucks jersey again tonight? Hahaha
Sam burns his first year if he plays 10 games reg + playoffs and the GM gives no fucks if he does burn it this year. It would mean we are in the second round at the least.
haha I thought you were there and definitely I would be scared of getting stabbed too lol I probably change to my bure jersey leaving the arena!Originally posted by rage2
If I was in Van for the game the only thing I'd hear would be the sirens of the ambulance driving me to the hospital from getting stabbed for yelling as loud as possible in the stands.
Props to Bob for having SammyB on the ice with 1min left lol rookie. Second game, 18 years old, fuck it! Haha good screen! Good job kid.

How's the red mile tonight? Robson is dead tonight lol
17th is wooo-ville. The ship is packed.
That doesn't look packed at all.
still buzzing from how awesome that win was! can't believe van has lost 7 straight home playoff games
So was anyone else HUGELY impressed with how Bennett played? I was not expecting that level of intensity from him right off the bat and he made some impressive plays in the offensive zone.
lol yup... wow 3 years have passed but that kid doesn't look like he's grown at all.Originally posted by D'z Nutz

Why is that kid wearing ear protection anyways? How old is he like 8.....
bennet was playing so good last night hope he can keep playing like that the whole series
Built with Chopsticks
I was at The Pint and it was Packed. But I wouldn't say it spilled out on to the street when the game ended. It will be interested to see how 17th shapes up after the first home win.Originally posted by H4LFY2nR

My friends and I were talking about this last night. With the last run, the concentration seemed to be centralized around Melrose. But with that area changing into more restaurants as opposed to bars/pubs. Where will the concentration be. We have the Ship/National on one end of 17th, and Pint/1410 on the opposite side of 17th. There isn't really much in the middle.
Anyone have any thoughts?
He was one of the best Flames players on the ice. The best part is he is just going to get stronger and stronger as the series and the playoffs goes with him sitting out most of the year with his shoulder surgery. He is nice and fresh with a ton of energy.Originally posted by 95EG6P

Yeah, I'm not usually one to get too hyped over young players cause I don't want set myself up for disappointment (I'm still jaded from the Sutter drafting era) but he generated a lot of chances out there. I was really impressed when he worked himself through the crowd in front of the crease in the first!Originally posted by BerserkerCatSplat

It'll be National on 17th IMO.Originally posted by sk8r3124

The Red Mile might happen on 10th Ave as well; there's Craft, National, Rodney's.

Anyone here have any idea where I could catch this game with sound in Phoenix?
For anyone wondering, I ended up at a sports bar in north scottsdale called Goldie's. They had great screens, sound on for the Chicago/Nashville game (they said they were going to turn on the sound for Calgary/Van but the other game went into dbl overtime).
Pretty decent setup, handful of Vancouver jerseys, and about a dozen people cheering for Calgary.
DOES ANYONE NEED A GO-JUICE?
If anyone wants a great party night on Friday, I'm selling two great tickets to the Hitmen/Tigers game and then watch the Flames/Canucks on the Jumbotron right after. $35 for both seats. Right on the glass.
