It isn't even cookie based. I just refreshed the page and voted again.

someone has a bot going for number 2.

I keep voting #1 and the percentage keeps going down each time I refresh.

You website experts, is there some way the IT nerds at the gubbermint can back-calculate how many legitiamte unique votes each choice got?

I voted number 2 because the numbers seem easiest to read. I would want to be able to report plates and pick them up on a dash cam so the clarity of that is what wins it for me.

Plus - real mountains vs fake.

    #1 as it's very iDevice-ish in design.

It's letting you vote but not counting it. Read what it says after, it says your vote has already been counted.

Real mountains looks terrible on a plate. It makes the text illegible, which is why they had to photoshop that white part in to make the damn thing legible lol.

Number 1 looks pretty good actually. Number 2 looks too 90s and number 3 is a joke.

    Why just have one design?

In the states you can get all sorts of shit, sports teams, breast cancer, WWF (World Wildlife Fund) with various endangered animals, Universities and Colleges etc etc etc

I think you pay a little more but it is donated to charity or whatever organization has a plate I believe.

    ie Texas Various Plates

And I like the 2nd Alberta plate????

This is horrid. Not ever giving up mine. Horrible colours, will clash with so many car colours. Too complex and complicated, not to mention no one asked for them and they could update the existing plate with the new logo.

    My thoughts:

#2 would be cool if it didn't have that white stripe in the centre. That totally screws it. I was on Facebook earlier and everyone was going on about how they prefer a real pic over a drawn one. I agree but that white area needs to go.

For the reason stated above.... #1 is the way to go here. I feel as though #2 is going to pull off the win unfortunately.

I'm happy that we are getting new plates. Hopefully motorcycle plates are in the works.

Funny side note: One guy on Facebook commented - "The only reason we are getting new plates is to cut the Wild Rose advertising from the current one. Saying Wild Rose country makes it sound like the Wild Rose party is in control. The PCs don't want that. "

Hahaha..... maybe he has a point.

voted #1 and couldn't believe the current winner is #2 (with the lame white bar running through the middle, wrecking the image). then i read this thread (where #1 is winning), and I am even more shocked! wtf is wrong with people????!??!?!??!

Found this design on Facebook. Much better IMO and it actually suits my car.
