Last time I was in Calgary it was night time and I was wondering why so many streetlights were straight purple.
Not sure it was talked about but the phosphorus coating failed on those purple lights, I believe multiple cities are going after the company.

I believe there is a contractor doing the street lights, use to be enmax but probably not a money maker for them. Iconic power I think is the contractor, lots of work for them to do.

They have asked for some other contractors to bid on some of the replacements now too...too much for Iconic to keep up with.

I heard recently iconic has 5 crews and are working weekends to keep up not sure how long that will last. Seems simple but when you have to find where the power is and prints are hard to come by, and working in the daytime so you can see what your doing you have to spend time finding the photo cell. It’s not always just a bulb change I would think.

It's relatively simple fixes, but ya, some time to find the phot cell, them trouble shoot the light. I imagine some are quick foxes, some would be a nightmare. Pretty lucrative work if you have guys who know what they are doing. If not, each fix can take way longer than it should

You pretty much described most repair industries. Lucrative if you know what you're doing. Absolutely a disaster if you don't.
