    Default Best (cool) Pillows?

I want some new pillows - curious to what everyone is using? I like supportive, but dense, squishy/moldable pillows (if that makes sense haha). Slept on some micro-polyester pillows recently that I thought were memory foam at first, and were quite good.

Also curious about shredded latex pillows - they seem to be well liked.

I usually fall asleep on my side.

I do not like the brick-style pillows like Tempur-Pedic.

I am allergic to some feathers, so I usually avoid down, though I have used them in the past.

What is everyone using? I wouldn't mind some recommendations for *cool* (temperature) pillows.

    Thanks!!

I slept on these at a hotel and liked them (they are also crazy cheap at $12.95 each):

Also I was looking at these:

This one looked pretty awesome too:

$80 in the USA, $25 here haha - might just try one at that price.

Get a talalay latex pillow. Talalay latex is cool to sleep on and are naturally dust mite resistant, but don't get a latex and fiber mix, just get an all latex one.

Good to know - thanks. Would you recommend shredded latex like this:

    or ones like this:

I tried out, and enjoyed a Talalay latex pillow at Sleep Country, so I decided to try ordering a cheaper Talalay pillow online.

I bought this shredded latex one from Amazon last year because the reviews seemed quite good
    http://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B00B...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

It smelled horrible coming out of the package and didn't get any better 3 months later. The King size also didn't have nearly enough stuffing, so it was laid really flat, and I ended up pushing all of the fill into half of the pillow (making it effectively a twin size) so that it was high/supportive enough.

I'm still not sold on shredded latex, but maybe the Malouf one will be better.

Then I tried buying a talalay latex pillow from Superstore... it was great for the first week, but then it seemed to get really soft and lost its support.

Since then, I've just been sleeping with regular oversized cotton fill pillows, maybe one day I'll go buy the $120 pillow from Sleep Country.

Report back if you find one that you like.

I have this pillow and love it. Been using it for about 6 months now and I tried a lot of pillows before this one.

Bed Bath and Beyond has good latex pillows for a reasonable price. Both in regular and king size. Especially good if you sign up and get the free coupon.

Winners and Homesense are also good for down pillows. They're doing good for me so far

We got our non-shredded type latex pillows (and a latex topper) here:

    http://www.labbebedding.com/accessories/bed-pillows/

I think it was $99 for a queen. Just wish we had gone there for the bed first. Would have saved at least $1k.

Tried out this pillow yesterday (turns out my parents had one):

    http://www.costco.ca/Ironman%C2%AE-N....10368478.html

It's awesome, however I can't figure out if it's a one-piece block-style latex pillow or shredded latex. Anyone know?

Another Talalay Latex from Sleep Country. It even goes on vacation with me. Can't sleep without it! My wife likes the tall one, I like the flat one.
You have a couple of photos that are great... you must be very good at photoshop!

Bump. Need side sleeper-specific pillows. Firm, or moulding to the side profile.

I sleep on my side/tummy I use this one

    http://www.bedgear.com/shop/thunder-...ce-pillow.html

they are a bit pricy the brick sells them they are about 180$ I got my thunder for 160 after I bought a bed there and made the guy give me a discount on the pillows lol

I love the pillow what ever side I flip it to its cool, the down side to it you can not wash them so a cover is needed over it

the Rain series is for side sleepers
