Recommend me an Airport Transfer/Shuttle? (Mexico)

A bit last minute, but we forgot to book an Airport transfer to our resort. We'll be leaving in a couple weeks to a resort about an hour away from Cancun.

Does anyone have any recommendations? It'll be me and my girlfriend if that matters. Is it possible to take a taxi? Unsafe?

I've googled a bit and both USA Transfers, and Canada Transfers seems to pop up on Trip Advisor.

Any first hand experience/opinions on either before I pick a service? Is there anyone else I should consider?

Just call the resort and schedule/pay for a transfer. They typically have preferred vendors they deal with. Its much cheaper than taking a cab, or finding a random transfer from the airport.

Both Canada Transfers and USA Transfers are really well done and I would recommend them. Likely two of the cheapest offerings as well.

I would too just call the resort, but if you can find another option that's cheaper, then no harm there as well. I think they pretty much all do the same thing. I would spring the little extra for a private transfer if it's an option, you don't want to stop at like 5-6 hotels along the way, as some of them are off the main road and sometimes bumpy as hell off-roading. I know there was one hotel close to some petting zoo just off the road close to Cancun, and it's kind of back in the jungle and the road to it was horrendous.

I've used US Transfers for a private transfer and had no issues. I would use them again.

Best day is who we contract at WestJet vacations. They handle every single guest that we send down. You should be able to book a reservation on their website.

I always use Hotel Beds - they are a great service and aren't overly expensive.

I take a community shuttle/community taxi. $12/pp US at most MX airports.
Taxi will run you ~$60.

Book private and ask them to come with a 6 or 12 pack of beer!

(Or stop in the cab and get it yourself)
