Anyone catch the 'demonstrators' downtown today?

So on my way home from work today, around 4.40 or so, a lineup of what I can only assume to be a group of fine, stand up gentlemen, were driving up 1st st se waving some kind of flags (palestine maybe?).

I'm not really one for public spectacles, but I'm pretty sure bouncing your straight piped civics off of the rev limiter and laying on all of your horns isn't the best way to garner positive public support.

Anyone else catch any of this?

Yep. Staying at a buddies house in saddlebrook and saw a parade of about 20 cars with flagging, honking horns and revving... No clue what it was about... I thought it was just part of living in the NE, lol

those fucking assholes almost ran me into the construction barrier on 5th ave heading out of downtown. there was a parade of like 15 of them including a few bikes, their light went red and me and the car next to me proceeded on our green light. only for one of the assholes on the bike and care behind him to pull out in front of the car next to me (to keep their cool group together) naturally the car swerves into my line and i have to slam on the brakes before i slam into the guardrail set up in the middle of 5th ave. idiots.

I saw them pulled over to the side of the road on Barlow. Then out of nowhere they pulled back onto Barlow really fucking up traffic. A few guys hard on the brakes to avoid em. I'm terrible with flags but I assumed it had to do with that Gaza Strip crap.

Yeah they were being pretty obnoxious on 1st St S.W outside of our office. There was 10 or so cars (Civics, Celica, Silvia, etc.) all hitting the rev limiter sitting at the red lights in traffic. They were also dumping the clutch and almost hitting each other at the lights which I also didn't get.

Yeah that might be it. The flags they were flying look very similar to the 1922-1953 "Kingdom of Egypt" flag. The car that was in front of me had a Palestine flag bumper sticker on it though.
