Default Motorcycle boots - what are you wearing?

Anyone wearing a boot other than the black/white Alpinestars SMX plus?

Seems to be everyone has these boots... in this colour... including myself.

I can't really complain about them.

Anyone ride with SIDI, Forma, Cortech?

Haha. I've seen your shoes in a couple of your videos and the first thing I thought was that they were shoes that belonged to MJ. Haha.

They are nice though. For myself I was thinking about going with a different colour (very similar to yours) but sticking with the SMX plus... something like...

I seen Forma has a few pairs of decent looking white boots. Might have to check them out as well.

    And these with full gear

Same boot and I find them both super comfy as I have wider feet.

The only reason I didn't go with these.

Because this happened to my friend... Mind you he wasn't wearing any boots. Perhaps even with the vertigo it may have been saved..

I got the SMX6 not a bad boot though. Has really good ankle support

^ Hmmm, maybe it was the model before the Vertigo's (had the boots for 7 years now) as I didn't have that heel, mine was solid rubber, and it didn't have all that shit on it.

Do those SIDI boots squeak a lot when walking in them? Not that it really matters. They just look like they squeak.

^ Mine did a bit, but it wasn't too bad. Obviously you dont want to be walking around in places where you're there to "dress to impress", but they were tolerable. Ive had sneakers that squeeked louder then my boots did.

Teknic Chicane, literally one of the worst boots you can buy for quality:

They were hella squeaky when I first got them but I fixed that by putting some silicone where the hard plastic rubbed the 'leather'

Boots tore apart at the seams, zipper split, all around just brutal boots but they offer better protection than sneakers in terms of heel and tow and shin etc.

My next boot will have replaceable soles since I'm quite hard on the soles.

    Alpinestars SMX-5 for highway
Alpinestars Waterproof Ridge for around town

The SMX-5 is probably the most comfy boot I've worn. It's more comfy than my regular shoes.

Icon Accelerant. Been rocking these for 6 years now, and not a single complaint.
