$22 off i believe is the double discount for early season. you cant factor early season into any of this besides perhaps if you want to factor in a set amount of early season dates without using your free card days, discount at louise is only $5 off the early season prices with card

This is the breakdown in my mind:

Going to Sunshine 2 or more times this year? Buy a sunshine card.

Going to Louise 3 or more times this year? Buy a louise card.


I will buy a sunshine card, won't buy a louise card. But I have a Fernie + Kickinghorse card that I got for $70 so thats like found money.

Louise average lift ticket before discount with the card is $80.50 ($89+72/2). I averaged it out because you're dependent on when you're going. If you're going 7 times early, then it goes down. If you're going regularly 7 times, it goes up. It's just easier this way.

For Sunshine, what's the $22 off then?

The numbers below are:

Louise
80.50-25=$56
89-12=$77

Well the thing is "early" season usually is just in November and once your are into December it goes back to regular rates...

The 22$ off is a discount I believe you get year round on weekdays excluding black out days AKA when everyone has it off for vacations. As far as I can tell you get this off even with no discount card.

Receive $22 off regular priced adult, youth and senior full day lift tickets throughout November, May, and midweek days—all season, Monday through Friday**.

So it's cheaper on weekdays.

I always buy at least one of each card. although Im free (perks of the Fire department) I bring the cards on the 2nd, 3rd 5th and 6th I actually ask people waiting in the ticket line that they can get a discount no strings attached. so when I bring a friend without a pass or when family are in town it's works out to approx $33-35 to go on the 1st 4th and 7th.

Anyone else ride urban hills? I love the hill behind the St. James statue at ACAD. The big retention pond with the soccer fields in it off the ring road in the N.W. is really good too due to the sharp end at the goal line (it keeps the sleds off it)

I just picked up these K2's with bindings for my lady. Half price, plus I signed up for their email and got another 10% off. $250 for decent skis/bindings ain't bad.

Gonna be an interesting drive to Revy tonight. Thank god I have studded tires and AWD, plus emergency kit and recovery equipment.

Even if it took 8 hours to get there it's still worth it, the hills are getting slammed now. Worst case stop at KH because that hill is getting dumped on hard.

I really like the terrain on the west side of the hill, with 55cm its worth the drive.

However the road there might be closed.
