Going out to sunshine on saturday, my ski club booked a 30 person bus. Itll be a good time.

Found these Burton Imperials in a size 15 at the source... they're a little more comfortable than my old size 15 Burton Rulers. Apparently these new boots have shrinkage tech, hopefully takes less space on my board. Even with a 28.5 waist they feel stuffed.

I had some burtons with the shrinkage thing and tbh it was a bad thing because it created more space in my bindings.

Morning was good but afternoon became whiteout with slushy snow.

Fun fact: Water with some vodka doesn't freeze in your Camelbak. Stupid idea though.

Be careful out there if your venturing out of bounds or in the back country. I was at sunshine yesterday and if you look closely, there was an avy caused by someone just outside of the backdoor.

went to Nakiska yesterday again, the place was packed compared to last year and with the warm weather of course the trails became really icy, felt like getting sodomized a couple of times
branches and the ground started popping out through the glades.

we're planning on finishing 2014 with Lake Louise next week

I'll wait for the conditions to get better. It was slushy this weekend so my board kept sticking even though I just got it waxed on Friday.

yeah outside of Jan-Mar season, the condition of the trails can be a gamble.
2 weeks ago was perfect though, chilly but trails were nice.
Last week was brutal.
Lake Louise is getting some flurries during the week so hopefully it will be nice on the weekend.

Not sure, Ski Cellar did it for me. I guess it makes a difference?

There were spots were the run was like going through molasses; going fine then boom. Bailed a couple of times.
