It was all tracked out by lunch hour lol. It wasn't busy at all, pretty stress free driving there and back. Good luck on the hill for the next few days.
This is my first time with a stick. Felt so unnatural.

Someone launched themselves off a random cliff at Sunshine?
http://www.newstalk770.com/2014/12/2...-over-a-cliff/One man is recovering in hospital in Calgary following a snowboarding crash at Sunshine Village. The 27-year-old was injured after a nearly 10 meter fall. He was initially airlifted to Mineral Springs Hospital in Banff, and then was picked up by the STARS Air Ambulance and flown to Foothills Hospital in Calgary. His injuries are not considered to be life-threatening.
Such a burn - been in Nakusp for a week thinking i'd get some pow @ Revy or Whitewater or Red... they're all not looking good
Land Rover + JUST HAVING TO MAKE first chair, sounds about right, no sympathy here. The mountain's not going anywhere and sorry (not really lol) people but no fresh pow is worth an accident, and other people's well being/lives. The Highway 1 Powder 500 is one thing I absolutely frikkin despise about an awesome pow day. Accidents happen, but some people deserve to be in the ditch early on for everyone else's safety.Originally posted by SIC1
This.
I just came back from a motor vehicle collision on the Trans-Canada. Tthe driver lost control due to high rate of speed. wanted to make first chair. now land rover is being towed and they are SOL.
The sanders have just come out. So be careful as it's slippery under the pow.
I was attending the MVC with our rescue truck with the fire department. I screwed up my day. along with today's derailment, 2 car MVC with 9 month old, and a structure fire. it's been a crazy week as we still have NYE. and the following weekend.Originally posted by heavyfuel

can't tell you about sunshine and the lake. I don't go anywhere near the hills til the Monday after New Year's. still 5 month of the season left after that.
Louise was good yesterday, skied whitehorn one 5 times haha. Front side is way less soft.

I do get great service there, especially when I mention my name, haha.
Excited for Revy next week!
Starting my ski trip tmr. Driving to Vernon, ski silverstar, then drive to whistler, spend nye and ski 2 days, then on the way back stop at kelowna and ski big white and then home.
Going w/ 5 pairs of skis and tons of redbull haha.
Taking the Volkl BMTs (109 width), Volkl Bridge, DPS Wailer Pure, Faction Prodigy, Blizzard Gunsmokes.
Photo of me all loaded w/ my skis and one of the flats of redbulls.
Red bull is for chumps, buy yourself a bottle of caffeine pills, much healthier.

Caffeine pills are for amateurs. Hydroxycut all the way!
And don't even get me started with any carbonated beverages lol but I hope you have a good trip!
I am leaving for Revelstoke tomorrow.
Was at nakiska on the 21st. I was disappointed that the easy runs were not open, I have two small children...
Any one been there in the last day or so who could comment weather the Nakiska Bronze chair has opened more runs ? More specifically the Powder face (28) and the Bronze Easy rout(43). Cheers!
I aint no junky.... I just keep it funky
Just finished two days at Revelstoke. I've yet to ski anywhere else this year.
How was it? I'll be there this weekend.Originally posted by Twin_Cam_Turbo

Good, hasn't been any fresh snow in the last week though. Good coverage though.Originally posted by flipstah

had the last day of the ski trip at big white today. They seem to be getting snow tonight. Whistler and Silver Star were pretty fun too. Posted lots of photos.
Was in Fernie this weekend. Base was lacking but got a decent dump on sunday which was good
What snow report app is the best?
Revelstoke was awesome. Hwy1 closed from Golden and didn't get to the resort till 3AM MST. We left at 8PM on Friday.
Saturday and Sunday was covered with powder though. Not a fan of the North Bowl with the Ripper. Everything else was stellar.

saw your pictures, looks like an awesome time!
does anyone have experience with the Ride Agenda or Salomon Assasin boards?
the Ride Agenda has a Flex rating of 3 and Salomon is a 5, mainly looking for a softer board, easier to turn, not a speed freak, more interested on turning and going through moguls, trees, etc.
any other boards you guys suggest on trying?
Thanks! It was a helluva good time.Originally posted by taemo

Would you happen to know the costs/process of getting a snowboard tuned up vs. just wax?
