Shit that's scary! Always a but clench moment when you realize there was a slide in a bowl you have been on

    Looks gorgeous though.

I need to get back into this. Things have never been the same since i broke my foot 6 years ago... I have found it hard to get back in the groove at least. Never as confident or stable

The scary thing is the people who go back there without gear and it slides.

Wawa ridge slides all the time... Hell parks canada even has a specific warning for the area.

I used to be able to do that, until they locked down the registration of the cards. (sunshine).

They wouldn't let you use your card for two separate ticket transactions, in a same single day.

The card uses my 3rd day, and a friend/stranger's uses a 4th day, but ask for lift tickets to be printed on the same day.

Is that what you're doing? At Sunshine?

Good to know, I've never really ventured too far out of the back door.

Yah probably because it sees so much traffic out the back door.

Much better terrain if you go up Wawa ridge and go off the back side in my opinion.

LOL.. This was my buddy Mike who caused the avalanche. He posted a picture on facebook titled "Oops, big enough to get the heart going."

I do it at Sunshine but I don't use the cards for multiple transactions on the same day. I have actually 2 sunshine cards and staggered their uses. one is on 2 visits and one is on it's 4th(free). It's easy to cycle their uses and give the free days to my friends/fam that visit.

If you're hardcore all you need is some thin yellow rope.

Trying skiing for the first time again on Saturday at Nakiska. I haven't gone skiing in 16 years since switching to snowboarding. Looks like I'll be spending the day on the bunny hill

ah i doubt it... i did this a while ago for a day, its really not a huge transition since you already understand the basics of gravity and metal edges, just keep the skis tight together and turn properly and you should get the hang of it in no time... if you ice skate its kind of a mix between snowboarding and that

If you french fry when you should be pizza'ing, you're going to have a bad time.

Awesome thanks! I've hear from people that skiing is easier to learn, but difficult to master vs snowboarding where it's more difficult to learn but easier to master.. Hoping that stands true. I have also tried snow blades when I was younger and those were hella scary

    Sunshine has the upper park open. Jump line is quite fun. Goes at S -> S -> M -> L -> L.

They still have the Wolverine and Strawberry box park up and going as well so there's park laps on many chairs
