In theory, if I shot a deer legally about 80 minutes outside Calgary.. would any of you come pick it up if I give you a ton of meat?

Trying to get out hunting later this week for my mule buck but don’t have a vehicle suitable to put a deer in… cheers guys

I plan to get a white tail tag for 406 next year. If you have priority I know where they hang out and I want to bag one. Just planning for next year and i've no one to hunt with. Have an extra ATV if you need one.

How are the WT deer in 406? I didn't realize a draw is required for them there.

Lots of whiteys in 406. I have hunted for elk in Saddle Hills and its stopped because my buddy with the outfitters tent moved to BC.

Thanks gents, appreciate all the offers to help and come out. Going to try with the bow a bit more but will be bringing the rifle out in November to get the job done. Company always welcome during rifle, my tag is for a mule buck in 156 (just outside rosebud).

Out moose hunting with some friends on Nov 1rst rifle opener. I passed on a few big bulls as i wanted to get my friends tag filled for their cow first. Weirdly they were not where we wanted them to be on the first day out.

Managed to get them their cow moose on the second day as well as a small bull moose for our family at the same time.

Helped a buddy get his cow moose and i filled a supplemental deer tag. Great start to rifle season.

Nice work, passed on small WT buck on Saturday while helping a buddy look for a shooter mule buck.

This company has developed an app for helping land owners manage access to their land. They have recently started allowing land owners to rent their blinds on their property for hunting purposes.

Seems like a way to skirt the laws for paid access. With that said f&w has said these guys are in full compliance in the past. I think this could be a good revenue stream for anyone with land they don't use.

Snapped a 6 year drought with the bow this year. Feels good, had my 10 year old son right beside me for the hunt too. Great experience.

I shot a bear the other weekend. Had it hanging on my property. All of a sudden had many other bears closing in. The bears were trying to cut my bear down and save it... or maybe eat it.

Fired off warning shots only to have the bears return right away. Had a friend shoot one just to get them the hell away.

Going back tonight for 2 or 3 days to hopefully shoot another.

Antlerless MD. Bears are everywhere this year. All my hunting buddies have seen a massive increase in black and grizz this year.
