No luck this weekend.
If only I had more vacation time, I could be out in the bush instead of in the office!

I struck out on Sunday even though we had the perfect spot lined up. All my friend and I could find were massive moose. For 2 of us it would have been way too much work so we chased after some white tail instead.
Had my other friend not bailed on us at 4 am we would have taken this massive moose. Instead we were pushing the bush for these white tails that were hanging around these 3 huge moose. It didn't pan out unfortunately. Oh well.
Hey, with hunting season approaching quickly I was wondering if any beyonder's have some land within a few hours of Calgary they would allow hunting on. Ive been hunting for the past 6-7 years and am experienced and respectful. Would be just me hunting.
I primarily bow hunt and would be going after Whitetail, Mule Deer and Elk. I'd be happy to share any meat that I successfully harvest with the land owner.
Also, I'm off work for a while and would be happy to help with work around your property for a few days prior to access.
Thanks. PM is best.
Looks like the govt is opening bison hunts for aboriginal hunters. Registration for draws are taking place from sep 11 till the 22nd. Lottery draw for those who applied is sept 27th.
Rumors it may open up to everyone.
The bison draw should have no motor vehicles or firearms allowed. Film it all, profit.

How many pesos is that costing you if I may? First time with this outfitter?
Other than a running coyote, I don’t think shooting an animal at 400 yards would be very rewarding
Come shoot the ones in my yard please. 10 of them destroying everything the last few years. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Not at all. Most of the deer I've shot have been within 75 yards. For some reason I find myself up close and personal with em.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

It’s in the city limits of Cochrane, hence the problem. I could literally leave my garage door open with a pile of grain and they’d walk right in and lay in my chest freezer. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

Seriously, I could take them all with a ball peen hammer one by one. The neighbours of course think they are ‘pets’ and are ‘cute’. I used the word ‘tasty’ and got funny, confused looks from them.

The buck had like a 10 point rack on it last winter. Looking for a pic from my front camera.
