Can anyone recommend a good car shop either walking distance to DT or on the SW or NW C-Train line? The closer to DT the better. The Meineke on 12th burned down and I need a new place to take my car to.

Not exactly the location you requested, but I've had several good dealings with "Our Mechanic" just off edmonton trail and 40th avenue. They don't appear to be bullshitters, and I've had zero issues over several visits on a variety of vehicles.
Can always drop off and take a car2go downtown or the bus.

I trust my vehicles with South Pro Automotive, they are near Heritage Station.

That was a poor attempt at keeping business.
Thanks jrsceg, but the reason I went to Meineke over another shop was location. I wouldn't say it was particularly cheaper or better service.
Anyone have experience with GSL Chev City or the Midas on 17th Ave and 25th St?
Also does anyone know if Midas will do recall work (at no cost to me), or does it have to go to a GM dealer? There's like 5 things I need done, but one involves a recall on my brakes (?) which apparently killed some people in the US.
recalls must be done by the dealership to have it be no cost.
