i've never understood why people always make these comments for these types of bikes but not supersports

you are not on a hardtail... you have suspension, and compared to a supersport... its a much softer spring rate too

I think it boils down to the padding on the seat itself. But the bigger thing is you won't be sitting on this bike and riding it for hours and hours on end but with that said.. Less padding = sore bum.

would still take sitting on my low padding bike vs the metal benches at a stamp's game any day

...but still... its pretty inline with a bunch of OEM bike seats out there. for me, its never the ass to go first on bikes... its the legs, but maybe thats just 6ft+ people problems. the old gsxr 750 would do me in by the time i got to canmore. the cb500 with its "low padding seat" would do lethbridge with no issues... well, besides my ears if i forgot the ear plugs

my cx500 with its basically zero padding seat... its perfect for me, legs, arms, ass... they all survive

Again, the looks of the seat are deceiving. It's more comfortable than the last 3 sportbikes I've owned.

anyone looking for a project, just came across this ad... looks like a solid deal for a CB with spoke wheels... i'd be tempted to grab it myself.... but 3 bikes is enough for now
