Ravi @ minute muffler on 32nd

They built a complete 3" exhaust system from scratch for me, couldn't be happier with the final product.

    Pricing was very reasonable too.

Theres always Carline/Calgary Muffler in front of Chinook Centre?

They've always been very helpful. Usually pretty quick and cheap.

I've got a stainless exhaust that comes out under the rear valence like the pic below. Properly installed, it hangs a bit too low for my liking and certainly looks like an add-on.

I want to cut off the tips so what remains are the pipes pointing downward similar to the factory exhaust.

Who would you recommend to do this cut?

I've used them a few times, always been quick, easy, and they did exactly what I requested. I don't think I've ever had to wait more than 10 minutes for my car to get in the shop with no appointment.

    Default Great shop!

Just got back from Minute Muffler on 32nd. They are great to deal with! Good service and they were able to fit me in without an appointment.

My left exhaust pipe had broken off at a flange... rusted through from the looks of it. And the right one was about to go too apparently, so did a muffler delete and the guy deleted the flange too and welded on stainless steel pipe. Looks great with wide exhaust tips and sounds awesome

Everyone at the shop is pretty knowledgeable... going back there soon for brake service simply because I like the shop

Attached picture is the left side, with the tips not welded on yet.

My 3" downpiple just came in and I called Minute Muffler and they told me that they don't install downpipes.

I guess I'll have to go to carline muffler

Carline by Inglewood is retiring unfortunately. Calgary Muffler by Chinook doesn't install downpipes.

Guess I'm left with the carline by Pacific Mall. They quoted me 130/hr with no estimate on time it takes, which kind of sucks.

Don't think I'd personally let a muffler shop do a downpipe install. Typically there's a lot of removal of other mechanical components to get to it. Especially on a Audi. Give Tunedub a call and ask for a quote.

    BUMP.

What's the update now for a muffler shop? Still Ravi at the 32nd ave location in the NE?

I tried carline on 58th across from Chinook but the owner there was a prick in my opinion.

    Lmk please and thanks.

Yeah well I wonder how they get the soft flowing caramel inside the Caramilk bar but you don't see me making a god damn thread about it. Slap your wife Baygirl, straighten him out.

G37X is too quiet. Need to hear that amazing VQ trumpet a bit more on the daily commute.

What's the going rate for an easy muffler delete locally these days?

G37X is too quiet. Need to hear that VQ trumpet a bit more on the daily commute.

Keeping cats/resonators for the sake of my hearing/neighbours, sedans come with a different muffler vs coupes and it's a little too tame.

Would prefer to hear from beyonders who've had one done in the past year, price and shop. Assuming Ravi @ Minit Muffler is still the best.

Read too many negative google reviews on Carline staff being a rip off, slow, grouchy and peanut butter welds/pipes not matching factory diameter.
