    Default Kawasaki Ninja H2R

Well, it was finally released, and the number that was on everyone's mind is ridiculous: the Ninja H2R will unleash around 300HP!

Although the H2R is for "track only", many are expecting the street legal version, the H2, to produce around 240-250HP, which is still an insane amount of power.

I've always liked Kawi. You can always count on them to be game changers, even at a time when many brands (particularly the Japanese ones) choose to play it safe and churn out refresh models year after year.

Kawi's always been known to produce monsters and this ones on a whole other level. The thing i'm not a fan of is the wings coming off the side fairings. The single sided swingarm is damn nice though

and I did not have the only say in the matter (most people just want it done ASAP and don't care about quality).

If anything we made a better decision because we had a consensus and were all on the same page.

I wonder if the wings are functional to try and keep the front end down?

^ I bet they are functional. Kawi set out to create an all-out performance machine. Adding weight for the sake of (questionable) aesthetics just wouldn't make sense.

I'm very curious to see who actually buys the H2R, since it's track only. I can see the H2 being sold out simply for bragging rights of owning the fastest street legal machine, but a 300HP track bike? That's a good 50HP up on MotoGP bikes, and those riders are already stretching the limits of track safety.

I've rode 200HP litre bikes at Laguna Seca and Philip Island, and I cannot even imagine what an additional 100HP would do.

Only 200kg too, I love the frame. I can't wait what the street version of it will look like, apparently it'll still have a a super charged engine just detuned, probably a little heavier as well with less carbon fiber. Hopefully they maintain that frame for the most part.

Jesus, as tempting as a H2 would be for the street, I'm sure the ergonomics would be even worse then a Ducati. I'm interested to see what the pricing will be for both bikes. I think I'd be interested in taking the engine from the H2R and putting it in the H2, an extra 50+ hp? Yes please

Not a fan of its aesthetics...

I'd still take it for a rip around the track though.

For sure theyre functional but they look cheesy imo. Even the current jap 1k's get real light in the front when you give it and thats only with 160-180hp so imagine what 300hp will do. The price of this thing is supposed to be $60k and the toned down version(250hp) is $30k.

^ Indeed. For $30K I would add one to be stablemate for the 1199.

Man, I wish it wasn't winter here for 4-5 months a year.

sure the H2 has the hp numbers but the 1199 is where its at! Sexiest and meanest sounding bike right now imo and thats including the H2.

And who you trying to kid with the 4-5 months of winter lol I wished it was just that

Prices have not been released. Going to be more then 60k.

No dealerships will probably have them here to look at from what I know.
