The iPad Mini 3 is a joke. They didn't even change anything from last year (I think that's the first time Apple did not do the usual yearly hardware upgrades to a device). Still using the same old A7/M7 (not the new A8 or A8X/M8), same resolution, same thickness/body, etc. The only things they added were new color options, new storage options, and a fingerprint reader on the home button. The Nexus 9 vs iPad mini 2/3 is no contest from a performance standpoint. The only comment I'd make is if you do want an iPad mini, buy the 2 not the 3 and save $100.

It's like October rolled around, and someone was like "oh shit, we forgot about the iPad Mini" haha.

Nexus 9 video...not in English but looks pretty speedy. It also has the HTC "double tap" wakeup which is an awesome feature.

    And another:

Apple finally figure out that Mini stole sales from Air. So they gimped it for this year.

Yeah the LTE version is only in 32gb at $629 but u can't get it yet looks like

Just Wi-Fi 16/32 GB versions are up

The player preorder is up too but I'm gonna wait for reviews to see how that is first if I bother with it at all... My smart TV's can stream as it is, but I have an older HDTV that isn't "smart" so I might grab one later for that... Maybe...

I want to see if it can steam x264 and avi without Plex first like the wdtv streamers can otherwise it's just added hassle for me

    //edit

Does yours say leaving warehouse in 2-3 weeks like it now says on the page?
I think they must have all said that to begin with cuz it won't be in stores until Nov 3 or some shit, right?

haha, wtf pricing is this. $650usd/$750 for the 6 and only $399usd/$429 for the tablet. That is a great deal as at current rates that is $451cdn. $100 for 16gb more is kind of stupid though.

The covers are "coming soon" lol damnit
If you get a cover it's gonna be $45 plus added shipping again!

Looks like the cover is just held magnetically to the nexus 9 lol I dunno how well that's gonna go

    This sounds cool though:
    Take pictures in a snap
When the cover is on the back, you can still take pictures easily. Just flip up the corner of the cover to automatically activate the camera.

Better than the keyboard which is showing $129 usd
They added the new sony smart watch for $279 though which seems steep, moto 360 will hopefully be added soon but I would guess that it will be $329 or something. US store has nexus 6 available also but it is $649 so same price as the carriers.

Also nexus player is available, controller is oos.

are you guys all going with the 16gb? I'm got a 64gb iPad, and am only using < 8gb after like 2 years of ownership LOL. i just use it for web surfing and reading PDFs (which are all stored on Dropbox).

    think i'll be ok w/ 16gb?

^ lol if your storage is all in the cloud I think you will be fine with 16gb

Only reason I would go with 32gb is to load up movies and music without having to mess with OTG options

I tried doing check out from amazon.com USA and with exchange rate it ends up being about the same including shipping and duty/tax if not more if you want faster shipping. That's before the actual exchange rate that the credit card company will charge you. So even though the price is better in USD it's the same shit

At least this way I can deal with Google for warranty issues and if I don't like it then return to Google. Does Google charge a restocking fee for returns? Do I have to pay to send it back to Google if I don't like it? (I plan on searching just too lazy to do so at the moment lol )
