Hmm... I got mine done at Autodream. Think they have record of whether this affects them?
Just want to quickly chime in on this and clarify that anyone on Beyond who has had a remote starter installed by Autodream, you are NOT affected by this recall. We install Compustar by Firstech LLC, and our bypass interfaces are i-datalink.
If you have had a Directed product installed into your vehicle from 2006-2015 w/ push button start, contact your installer and see if you have the latest firmware update.

The recall only affects push button start remote starters that the installer used a transmitter for the install. If you had two transmitters to start with and had two transmitters afterwards, you should be ok.
If you paid extra money for a transmitter at the time of install, call the installer and see if your car needs an update.
Hey strugari,
Would you happen to have the manual for a command start 290i or 320i. Looking to reprogram a cs555 remote i bought on ebay.
Thanks,
sorry for hijacking the thread
I'm looking for a Command Start 290i manual too or a wiring diagram. Bought a pickup with a CS-290i in it. It is interfering my with power door locks and I need to remove it. Any help would be welcome.
