Just picked up a 2014 Fiesta ST today.. Bunch of other cars I could have gotten into for this money but this thing spoke to me during the test drive... I hope I can keep a car longterm for once in my life.

Yeah, they're kind of a pain.Originally posted by Sugarphreak
Won't start... just keeps flashing "IMMOBILIZER MALFUNCTION" at me on the screen
I unplugged the battery last night hoping things would reset, also checked every fuse just in case something went... but after I plugged it all back in this morning nothing had changed.
It sounds like it might be a known issue, the Roadside assistant rep asked me to jiggle the steering wheel and try hitting the start button at the same time.
I have to say, I am not sold on the new era of keyless entry and push starts controls
Did you know if you have an automatic there's no way to just turn the radio on without starting the car. There's no 'accessory' position. So you have the start the engine, then turn the engine off just to sit and have the radio playing if you're waiting in the car.
With a manual you can push it without the clutch and it'll beep at you to push the clutch but at least turn the radio on.

I plead innocence! I hit just one cone when driving your car.Originally posted by Sugarphreak
Kind of funny... the car has big black cone marks all down the sides right now, I am sure the dealership is going to do a big WTF! when they see that.

Just got word last week that Rally armor brought out mudflaps for the Fiesta. Gonna look at a set (mainly to help with winter slush)
Heavy d did you get 3m?
That diffuser needs to be paint matched or at least the top three "rows" paint match and that leaves a bit of black back there
Can you not just press the power button on the radio with the fob inside the car?

I like the rear on the 15 better than the 14s

So I guess the question is... What are you planning to do as far as mods? Because if you say it'll stay stock, we all know that won't happen
So when you press the power button without your foot on the brake, but with the key in the car, nothing happens? Pretty sure every other manufacturer works that way. Weird.Originally posted by pheoxs
