Halo 2 was IMO the best of the series. Simple, balanced, and fun.

But it could be rose tinted goggles.

But but what about the ~2 new missions for $20

Can't wait for this. Halo 2 was my favorite mainly because of the MP. Destiny is going away today for sunset overdrive anyways. Need to go digital though to stop changing discs

Actually they can make good new games but Halo 5 is still in development for 2015 release and this is a sweet holdover. We see re-released titles all the time but at least in this case you can easily argue that retail price is a steal considering the content (4 single player games plus multiplayer) all graphically upgraded. I personally can't wait to play them in succession.

It's pretty clear the plan for Destiny all along was to ship an incomplete game for $70 and charge you incrementally for the rest to the point where the people that actually stick with it will have to invest hundreds of dollars. Pretty smart marketing by Bungie/Activision but unless the added missions are substantial I can see a lot of gamers balking on paying $20 for content that they can beat in a day or two and I do realize that some gamers are perfectly happy playing the same levels hundreds of times over and over.
