When a bit of plumbing thats been undisturbed for years springs a leak and now your family is living without hot water.

    No damage, but...
Man we use a lot of hot water!
I feel your pain. A couple months back a tree decided to root ball my sewer line.

Instead of no hot water. It was no water or else things get stinky in a hurry.

When you can't get to the unlock screen by clicking the mouse or hitting enter no matter what you do.
But it magically only works if you click the bullshit center of the screen so that it can assault you with launching Microsoft Edge to tell you more about that fascinating picture you didn't actually give a shit about.

Put a new irrigation controller in, and when going through and programming the zones, found out that the previous owners of my house built our fucking enclosed deck over two sprinkler heads. And they didn't even adjust them to closed or anythihng, just waters the dirt under my deck. Perfect, because I was looking for a weekend job crawling around in the dirt.

Make sure you adjust the pressure if you take those 2 offline. Unless they are the only 2 on the zone.

I'll be opening up the deck and digging a new trench to move them to the right spot.

Forgetting that BBQ season entails closing the patio door after cooking. Woke up to the furnace blasting and what might as well have been an open invite to rob us. At least the screen door was closed.
