I had to feed my laptop a few knuckle sandwiches today because the dumb mousepad thing wouldn't right click, and now it doesn't work at all. So I'm back to a mouse. Pet Peeve: Laptops that don't have a trackpoint. I lived with a Lenovo X61T that was trackpoint-only through University. It was glamourous that nobody wanted to borrow my laptop since they only knew how to trackpad.

I'll go against the grain here and say I like a little beep-beep. Back in University I had an 00 Subaru Legacy (loved that little bastard) and it didn't make any alerts when locking, so I had to listen for the locks to actually engage which wasn't that loud, especially if there was background noise or other people around. Downside was the remote was kinda fucky and didn't always lock on the 1st press of the button. So if I didn't hear the locks,I had to try the door handle like a neanderthal.
