Even if you have an alley, they still schedule it for bin pick-up day. So now the alley is filled with cars and the trucks can't pick anything up.

Today a guy brought his dog to work and it pissed on a tank that was sitting on the floor in the washbay. I saw him do it. The owner saw him do it. I said to the owner "you should grab the wash gun and wash that off." You know, since it's in the wash bay and all. And I left it at that to see what would happen. Three hours later him and his dog went home.

For a lot of pet- and germ-related things I tend to run counter to how normal people think. But I don't think it's weird to think that dog piss shouldn't just be left on something a person might use. Like, if a person did that, the first thing you'd think is "that's a little antisocial", but the second thing you'd think is that should get cleaned up sooner than later.

I want to open a bar that is distinctly NOT "dog friendly" so people can go sit on a patio and eat food without animals that clearly contravene the well-established food safety regulations as well as drink a beer without the fear of some silly animal not biting someone or someone's children.

Meh it's been like that for decades. I had that problem 24 years ago. Wanted to move departments, told I couldn't because I was too valuable where I was. So I asked for more money, they said no because at my level I was already causing resentment because I was the youngest person at that pay grade by like 10 years.
