I had pretty much that same experience with hockey this last season. I got in shit at the beginning of the year for going on the ice with my kids team as I waited for her to tell me what I needed, then she told me what courses I needed but what she said I needed didn't actually match anything on the Hockey Alberta (or maybe it was hockey canada?) website. She worded it all wrong but I eventually figured it out because I just got ignored.

Lacrosse is off to a bad start too. We were told our practice was 6-7 the other night and we got an email at 5:09 saying "Sorry I got the practice time wrong, its actually 5-6. Sorry about that". Thankfully we live close to the rink and they were able to stay on longer than 6 but still....
