My sign is much less polite:
Yet the guy who sells meat out of a van still knocked… I asked him what makes him so special and he said something about being local? wtf?
Still get a lot of Telus types “oh I’m not actually selling anything” yes you fucking are.
Most of the time I just point at it and slam the door… like what else did you expect when you saw a sign like that?
Sometimes I just open my main door and let the 100 lbs dog do the talking through the glass storm door.

LoL!
Ohhhh thats a way better approach than my wife's "sorry we just rent and have no say over everything" approach. Another favorite one of her's is "sorry there aren't any adults here, I can't help you" despite being mid 30s.This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

At a previous job I was temporarily in charge of shipping and receiving, but I didn't have my forklift training so I wasn't allowed to run it. Whenever a truck came in I had to tell them to wait so I could go get a grown up who could run the forklift. That grown up was the 18 year old shop laborer. I was 40. Of course I could run it, and eventually they made me, but my feeling was this was their rule and I was just following it.

This kind of no-bait clickbait.
The bland headline makes you think there's some surprise to the story, like a famous owner or a body in the trunk. There isn't. A tow truck driver was sent to tow a car, and he did tow it. The end.

An honest boring headline is a personal joy, not a peeve.

My point is that news should be news. There should be something to differentiate this from every other time a tow truck is dispatched. I had a truck towed this summer. The experience didn't warrant an article on autoevolution. I don't think the Al Gore rhythms should be pushing this shit onto us in the first place, but if they are it should at least be somewhat interesting to someone. This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member.
