As usual, the US has decent deals...Best Buy has a Samsung 55" 4K TV for $899.99. :O

Hoping to get a TV, was pretty disappointed with last years Black Friday, as well as boxing day.

I'm thinking of picking up a wireless speaker
Sonos amp x 2 please. They are so bloody expensive and never go on sale.
Where are they on sale? I wouldn't mind getting one or two as well!Originally posted by spike98

I'm hoping to keep an eye out for tower speakers as well.
My movie experience could use a buffer up haha.
Heading down to Vegas for some shopping. I go every year and the deals are awesome.

Looking to get a mini computer with HDMI output for the home. Is this any good?

Do camcorders usually go on sale on Black Friday?
Edit: Holy shit. Just read the Best Buy US flyer from the redflagdeal link. Those prices are insanely cheap.
For those of you that go to the US for Black Friday: Is it really total chaos like you see in the news? Is it a total pain in the ass shopping? I have days off during that time, a sister who lives in Vegas and flight benefits. Maybe it's worth a quick trip.

Camcorders go on sale. I bought an HD camcorder from Samsung for $30CAD
Can anyone point out any good deals on desktop SSDs? It'll be my first time buying one so I'm not entirely sure whats good, whats crap, what expensive, whats reasonable, etc
Frick, I feel like asking if someone could pick up a 40" tv for me. Mine shit the bed not long ago. Id happily pay for a finders fee and for the transportation of it.

This will decode HD but won't have enough HP to transcode if you're looking to use plexOriginally posted by flipstah

Anyone seen any Nexus 9 deals in the US? Been meaning to get one soon so a Black Friday deal would kick butt.
People die every year from Black Friday shopping sales in the US and it's pretty much what you see in the news.Originally posted by KrisYYC

They will step over a trampled body just to get their hands on another iPhone 6.
If it isn't drawing those kinds of crowds, it's not Black Friday.....'Murica!
Canadian Black Friday is a joke. You can see how bad ours is by looking at the USA flyers, and that's also why Darwin claims a few shoppers every year. 9 times out of 10 the prices they advertise in Canada can be had at other times of the year, or on regular sales. They also show the "before" price as the highest ever MSRP from 1-2 years ago, that nobody ever paid, to calculate their "60% off" or whatever it may be.
There is the odd good deal, but true "door crashers" are almost nonexistent. Best thing to do is just shop online if there is anything you really want, and avoid the crowds & lineups. Exact same thing for Boxing Day. I usually pick up a few things every year, and pay the $5 shipping to avoid endless hours of traffic and lineups.
In that case, I'll have to hunt down a wireless keyboard with built-in mouse (If anyone finds one, let me know! Illuminated and trackball preferred but ordinary with a touchpad is okay).Originally posted by spike98

It's over anyways lol.
