Far Cry 4

So besides the fact that most of us on PC can't fking play, anyone else enjoying it on consoles or w/e?

I only watched the intro and played about 10 mins. It looks and plays amazing on XB1.

What's wrong with the PC version?

Played it for a few hours last night on PS4. Seems like a great game so far.

The screen will just load black, something to do with peripherals, where if you have a joystick, virtual joystick or something that thinks it's a gaming controller(like a M&KB) it just wont load.

Fury and rage happening all over the forums haha, I will attempt a different M&KB tonight i guess, you pay 70 for a game and nothing works, typical ubisoft.

Worst is I just got 3 screen Eyefinity all setup and O/C my GPU just for all this :/

I haven't had any issues with PC as I don't have all that plugged in for arma like you

I have been enjoying it, I do miss the ocean, but it is still fun. Horribly optimized though in typical ubisoft fashion. The frame drop in the villages and when moving fast is also quite large. I had to turn down the settings to very high!

I heard it's pretty well optimized actually on reddit, no the crazy part is I have nothing plugged in like peripherals for USB. Just M&KB but the computer is thinking my Razer and Merc kb is a game controller.

I find it chugs pretty hard. I am using my new 970 and figured it would be better. Average like 55 fps on ultra then go into a town and it dips to 30 then sometimes even lower

Now I can play arma on ultra though which is nice.

I have the XB1 version but have yet to open it as I've been busy and still playing some other games.

Been playing on PS4. I don't get the hype. Got it to play online Co-OP then realized you can't co-op the missions. Game's alright at best... What a waste of $70.

FC4 running at a steady 50 - 60 fps and very high settings w/ dual 3GB GTX 670's, 16GB ram, i5 3.4ghz, etc.

Not a bad game. Got it free. Would happily pay around $30 for it though

Very similar game. Same kind of concept. Marginally better graphics. Some new mechanics that are pretty neat.

I'd agree on this, it's definitely not a huge improvement but they've improved a bunch of small things. If you liked 3 you'd probably enjoy 4 as well. I know I have been.

I'd like another Africa setting. Far cry 2 was a huge letdown game play wise but that setting had so much potential.

The Indian culturally influenced overtones really add a lot to the game AFAIC. I've been enjoying that aspect the most.
