Default Best Car Name Ever: VelociRaptor

    http://www.hennesseyperformance.com/...aptor-suv.html

I want one, even though I have no use for something like this.

The same 6.2L 411 bhp Ford V8 powers the entry level SUV while Hennessey also offers their VelociRaptor 600 Supercharged upgrade at an additional cost.
    Paging Cos.

    Duuuuuude.

This is old news, the velociraptor has been out for like 2 years.

    Edit. Sorry 4 years http://www.topspeed.com/cars/ford/20...v-ar96303.html

I'm surprised I haven't seen any O&G money rock this in Calgary.

Never seen the SUV before. That's awesome.

One of my clients in Edmonton has one with the top power package. Really impressive build quality, it's almost OEM.

Only partly related: I'm parking in Centennial parkade these days, and I find it a tight squeeze with my F150. There are at least four guys who daily-drive their raptors and park in that same parkade. Must be a real pain in the ass with tier extra 7 inches of width. Those guys do seem to show up early, so I guess it's only a problem for the people who have to park beside them.

I know that 6.2L gas engine is badass, but I think a tuner could do some amazing things with the 3.5 EcoBoost, and probably end up with a better weight balance too.

The raptor is taking a year off for 2015, but strong rumors of it being reintroduced in 2016 sometime. Will be very interesting to see what engines they offer, since the 6.2L engine is no longer offered in the F150.

Aside from the north pole trip, I think this is the first time they've filmed in Canada, isn't it?

They're certainly big, but I don't know if they are the BEST I've tasted.

That thing is badass! The rear glass/door setup are parts from the Ford excursion, making it look very OEM.

Yes, this will be the first non-Arctic Canadian segment done by modern TG.

Whenever there’s a global survey to find the best places in the world to live, Canada always does well.
We’re told that no one in Canada is ever robbed, butchered, stabbed, murdered or blown up by a doctor. And I don’t doubt that all of this is true.
But by the same token no one in Canada ever wins on the horses, or escapes from a knife fight with their life, or has an orgasm. It is Switzerland with wheat.

I read somewhere that they got stuck in Trail because of crappy weather. This IS Canada, so I'm really not sure exactly what they were expecting :P
