Default What to do in Kansas City?

I'm heading out to KC on Sunday to watch the Chiefs/Broncos game but then I'm there until Thursday.

I've never been to KC so I'm wondering if anyone knows of anything I need to make sure I go do? I know I need to eat some BBQ but besides that I'm not sure.

    Thanks!!

Can you go to STL? Maybe see the St. Louis Arch?

Other than BBQ, the South is big on Jazz and Southern Rap so I'd check out bars or museums for a good time.

Ferguson is just outside of St. Louis. I hear there's some kinda festival going on there right now.

I spent a full solid day at the National WWI Museum at the Liberty Memorial. The power and light district was okay to wander around through...lots of bars and little shops and shit.
I think there is a subreddit for Kansas City that you could check out for more ideas and where to eat.

Try not to get shot. St. Louis and Kansas City are two very rough shitty cities. KC is especially ghetto... just drab concrete everywhere, very poorly lit. There are lots of good restaurants. Check out this link for good places to eat. http://www.foodnetwork.com/restauran...-94.578567/10/

Have you actually been, or are you just talking out of your ass?
I have been and found the downtown actually quite nice. If you want ghetto there's one in every city. KC is known as the city of fountains, they're everywhere, even in the outfield at a Royals game.
For food, Jack Stack is good for bbq and the capital grill is really good but a bit expensive.

^ yeah, I'm entirely "talking out of my ass about two cities I've never been to before. Brilliant.
Yes I've visited both and spent time there.
