Chumpcar returns to Alberta for August 2015

Just a heads-up to any enterprising Chumps out there - Edmonton's Castrol Raceway has been officially added to the 2015 Chumpcar race schedule for the August 1-2 weekend! The race looks to be a 24h format this time around.

What are the rough costs. Do you need a license?

Well, super TL;DR is $500 car with basic safety stuff added, no special license needed. Your safety gear will probably be worth more than the vehicle.

Note that they've changed how they "value" vehicles since I last raced, so now it's done on a "points" system with your make/model's "points" value being listed at the end of the rulebook.
