Cons
- The constant dick-measuring of salaries, houses, cars and toys
- Lacking sense of community. Unless of course if you live in Bowness where you're a Bownesian instead of Calgarian, and Bowness is heaven on Earth Very neighborly place though I'll admit
- Taxis suck balls. Thankfully in stumbling distance of anywhere interesting
- Swinging pressure changes leads to headaches some days
- No IMAX nature documentaries (Regina has these FFS). Sad the Eau Claire location closed
- Traffic congestion
- Absolutely shit drivers everywhere

Pros
- The mountains are incredibly close and awesome. Clear days with the skyline and mountains in the background always makes me smile and proud I'm here
- Good selection of quality restaurants
- Clean water and air
- Good job opportunities for the most part
- Relatively low crime
- Lots of green space within the city
- Good bike path network
- Car2Go

- The constant dick-measuring of salaries, houses, cars and toys, this appears to be common to all of Alberta.
- Taxis suck balls. They are an embarrassment.
- The C-train, a good idea poorly executed. At-grade through downtown severely limits capacity, and means collisions with pars and pedestrians are common, which shuts down the whole network. Put that shit underground FFS.

-Cabs - burn the system to the ground and let the current owners rot!
-Public Transit and lack of meaningful desire to fix it
-Our City hall and all the retarded decisions they make
-The "bike" culture: a very small subset but seems to want to force it on everyone and ruin infrastructure for the masses
-"hipsters"...associated with the above
-The calgary police aka ticket enforcement club. They seem to be more about handing out crock of shit tickets then actually stopping crime. I believe our police put ticket revenues as a #1 priority and safety second based on the lack of give a shits when I've reported crimes.
-bullshit police check stops during mid day or rush hour on a week day. Stop pretending you are doing your job when you are wasting tax payor money and people's time. Set up a check stop on Memorial or Bow at 230am on Friday and Saturdays.
-the growing population of homeless people downtown

This: how damn long does it take to dig up 5th Ave? Especially when more than half the bus routes through downtown stop right in front of Bow Valley Square! Japan repaired 150m of earthquake ravaged highway in SIX days
