Time to buy sweat pants, sir
Yeah, when I was looking at a suit at the Bay I had the same, but opposite problem. Jacket fit niiiice, but pants were several inches too small to button up. Suit separates solved that problem.Originally posted by dj_rice
When I was at Moores, looking for a blazer, the blazer I bought comes with free pants included. I'm a big guy so had to get a certain size jacket. My size is 42"x32 waist, the pants included had a I think 54-56" waist and long ass inseam I think. I'm like WTFFFFF . The lady helping me said I couldn't get a different size pants because it was particular to that blazer but she said don't worry, we can get it hemmed. How da faq do you hem a 56" waist down to 42".Originally posted by BensonTT

I forgot lucky jeans go to 40 and some pairs fit really big, I squeezed into a 32 yesterday, even though I have put on 15lbs in a short timeframe. God I feel gross
Laugh all you want but I wear a 40/42 waisted jeans and costco jeans fit awesome and last forever! They are stretchy enough that when you wash them they shrink up slightly but after 20 minutes of wearing them, they stretch out just perfect every time. I am no fashion guy so I am happy they are cheap, fit well and last forever. I couldn't care less about the brand name.
I also have a few pairs of Denver Hayes jeans from Mark's and they also fit really well on my frame but they cost 2 or 3 times more than the costco ones so costco it is for me.
As for suits I went custom made from Bay and King out of Toronto. Buddy comes out here usually every couple months and does fittings. Full custom 3 piece suit was $480.00. Custom dress shirts are like $60.00 each which is awesome as dress shirts off the shelf never fit me properly. I am 6'.0" tall but only have a 31/32" inseam (all torso) so stupid shirts are always too short to tuck in properly.
Nordstum sp? has fidelity jeans that have a number of dark basic jeans that are super comfortable and sized in the 38 and 40+ range.
Im not a huge guy, but at 6' 3, 250 lbs find it hard to find jeans that fit my thighs. The guys at Heros in Chinook always took the time to help me out pulled a ton of diffrent styles and cuts in the right waist size.
Unfortunately they dont carry fidelity anymore, but I found bohr jeans in a straight cut i liked as well.
I have heard great things about the Costco Jeans. I'm not a costco member, so this idea is out for me.
Also, after someone above pointed out that Marks have 42 waist on the website, and my experience never being able to locate them in store, It occurred to me I should just start shopping for my jeans online.
Didn't find any styles I liked at Marks.com today, but thebay.com has free shipping over $99, and I'm finding some stuff I'm interested in. If the fit isn't great, it's not that much hassle to take it back to and Bay store.
Hoping this works out.

I'll be honest, over the last couple of years, I've been in Chinook, north hill, and Sunridge, but I don't go back multiple times.

I can't fathom how some people don't have Costco memberships. Best retail operation around, love that place.
DOES ANYONE NEED A GO-JUICE?
But anyway, more on topic, get yourself that pair of 42s - as well as a pair of 34s.
With some work you'll be wearing the 34s by spring. Losing those extra 20-30lbs is really not that hard, and you'll feel better than you could ever imagine.

These are friggin' comfy jeans, and look good for the price. I'm a 34W 34L which is tricky to find sizing for but Marks always pulls through for meOriginally posted by egmilano
