winter wheels

Just wondering if anyone has had any lucky fitting 16" steelies on their Focus ST?

I tried to put these wheels off a volvo i bought on kijiji. I did some research online and people say they fit 16s but my wheels dont fit because of caliper clearance. I am wondering if anyone here went with 16" steelies and if they will clear before i try and resell the wheel and tires maybe i can just take the tires off it
