Whenever I'm doing sprints I sit around 800-1100w depending on the length of the sprint. Yesterday's race was a 10 second sprint above 800w, peaking at 976w.

Keep in mind that your body weight + muscle mass + fitness will play a big role in how much power you can sprint at.
Also seconding the fan part - riding on a trainer gets super hot. Even with my fan on full blast I can usually wring out my shorts at the end of a hard workout.
k cool. have a sweat cloth and ant+ stick from amazon on it's way..now to find the convertor that works for the thing before it shows up next week.
turns out finding an adapter of that size so far has been hell in town. 3 bikes shops down, zero success. Giant pain in the ass. Ridley has one from Robert's axle project, but $100 for a freaking bolt is a bit nuts

Well I've been busy the whole 3 months from house sale, moving, etc. Now I am going back to do my training and will be subscribing again tomorrow. We should all add each other and do an online group ride together haha.
Watch the cat for different holiday hats!
ended up ordering this thing. still feel a bit retarded spending $50 on an axle, when my existing thru axle is $40 for a "dura ace quality" shimano..This quote is hidden because you are ignoring this member. Show Quote

What's everyone's username? I only have lilmira koyotes (Charles) on there right now. I should show up as Niels van Ommeren CMC.

But you'll probably pass me way too quickly to see me
Looks like expansion for London is out. I'm in for a virtual group ride. Niels needs to slow down though or I'll just sit on his wheel lol.
I would be game for a Zwift group ride at a medium pace tonight to explore the new London areas! We can keep it at a reasonable speed to ensure everyone can tag along without getting dropped.
dang. i should have my setup by friday with all my shipping... how many km of free do you get during the test period?
Unless they've changed it - A massive 50km for free. Which is like 1.5hrs of riding on flat. Just enough to get you hooked.
ill be trying it and trainerroad out.. would be nice to come into spring cycling faster then i left it
i'd love to join the group ride, but no can do atm. we have a 14 week old baby girl who arbitrarily decides when and for how long i can do any independent activity
lilmira's still stuck at work. Anyone else about to log in?
Doing the 4 lap flat race at 7:20 if anyone wants to join.

Currently still managing to get some exercise in because I'm off for the month. But very irregular schedule.
Curious what people are using for setup. Full TV, computer, ipad? I'm gonna use my wifes laptop, just trying to figure out how i'm going to keep it in front of me..
I have a small ikea table that's about 2 feet tall, which I'll put my laptop on. I run a cable from the laptop to the project, so I ride on about a 9 foot screen. If I'm not doing a training ride I'll put netflix or youtube on the projector and keep Zwift on the laptop screen.
When I took my bike to my parents' place I used an ironing board to hold a fan and my laptop. Worked great and it's the right height!
Sidenote - riding on a big screen makes me brace for dips in the road.
Edit: IPad is OK but be prepared to sweat all over it if you have one of those Wahoo IPad holders.
My pain cave is in the basement, laptop on top of my fancy table made of empty boxes lol and cheapo fan from Rona.
