That article says new bikes will be implementing native steering input, so I probably would wait

Unless you don’t like having to take your bike off and on the trainer, or if you don’t have a dedicated trainer bike, I’d stick with the regular Kickr and spend the money on the e-flex or some other rocker plate, better fan, or your Zwift/TrainerRoad/Sufferfest membership. I just don’t think changing will upgrade the indoor training experience vs making an actual upgrade to the training experience itself. That being said I’ve never ridden a Kickr bike but just my thought.

I like the idea of the slightly slammer size (it seems?), easy of moving it around if needed, no drivetrain maintenance/noise and integrated angle change thing.

Well... found the best mod yet... proper shoes! Was doing cages w/sneakers before this, wasn’t planning on grabbing these but needed at least $150 in the cart for free shipping on Jensen, so not only have I finally got the last bits for the commuter but these as well, on for $70USD, carbon too

Building this setup is really starting to pay dividends

More consistent riding in the last week than... well since last fall in the real world!

Zwift has certainly been busier than normal. I think one night there were 18,000 people between the two worlds. Did a group ride with 352 people in it one day. Servers seem to be able to handle the traffic though. Loving my Elite Direto X so far.

Yup, tons of people. We are having office group rides on mondays now, on teams to chat while we do it.. pretty good. I'm still struggling with the motivation this year compared to last. Dont have half the time on the bike, and when i do get on am bored fast. Just wanna ski!

I noticed you were on Zwift a couple days ago - was that an office group ride our a Tour of Watopia one? It was the Jungle circuit you were on. Speaking of Tour of Watopia - the "group rides" have pretty much just been full blown races every time...

Group rides lol, let's just say I'm practicing social distancing from the lead group. I don't mind it, it's keeping me motivated and in shape.

Stage 1 "group ride" was 3.8w/kg average for 1:14 just to finish in the lead group. The races are shorter, so more intense. 4.2w/kg for 26 minutes to finish with the lead trio.

Tempted to get back on zwift here - just because coworkers are online now.
Wasn't a huge fan last time - but have no issue doing 6hr trainer sessions and staring at my power numbers and/or netflix. lol.
