Very nice, good to see a local car go that quick.
Jesus, that E46 is a such a fucking sleeper! I fully expected the GTR to run away from it.

Here's the EC feature on it earlier last year: http://www.superstreetonline.com/fea...hp-e46-bmw-m3/
The M3 has been kicking ass at Shift Sector. He's a true enthusiast. He was helping me out over the summer troubleshooting my old HPF M3.

Thanks guys! It was pretty nice to get invited to that event and I got to test things out before heading to Shift S3ctor the weekend after. I was about 750-820rwhp for this footage...only about 70% ethanol. >90% Ethanol gives me about 900rwhp. New PT6870 turbo getting installed should give me a bit more too.
The BBI porsche in that video is no joke and the owner of the shop in addition to the car are really awesome. The Supra was pushing somewhere around 800-850 and I only edged him out by a little bit and the owner is also an awesome guy. Lots of fun at the half mile events in California so if anyone is going hit me up and say hi I'll take you for a ride. Next event is in April and I'm going to push things...we'll see if my head stays on lol.

Nice, what turbo are you currently running now? The PT6870 seems promising as Supra guys are already hitting 1000+.
Currently running a 7168 which I love but the small exhaust housing is limiting my power...spools awesome though so if this new 6870 spools better and gives me more power efficiently I'll be happy.Originally posted by AMFH403

Goddamn that was quick.
Woah, proud of the E46. Good job Commander!
I thought I recognized the supra guy. He is ice1cube on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/ice1cubed

I love these multi brand shoot outs.
If you get angry at my post please re-read as a joke or sarcasm.
Awesome to see a local on MT. Love the look of your E46 M3. Stock-ish and menacing

BOOSTIN
I Love me some turbo action
I don't think he runs 1/4 mile. It's always 1/2 mile rolling runs.
The E46M3 isn't really a launchable car for drag racing. I broke tons of shit from launching on the street with my HPF M3, which made less power than Commanderwiggin's.

Good stuff! Looks like fun.
I have heard the same thing about the rear ends/axles in those M3's being a bit weak for high hp- grippy tire launches.
Quite the sleeper at 800-900hp nice job.
What all did you break?Originally posted by rage2

Im just working right now on getting my E36 LSx swap to the 750rwhp mark, quite a different setup to these turbo S54s.
Would be cool to see this car in the summer to have a better look at it.
wiggins,
Have you done anything to the rear end of the car? Axles? Upgrade diff?

Reasons why Drumheller area wouldn't make a good race track venue...

If I was going to do 1/4mile stuff I would need a cage...a few years ago on a poor surface with a 8000' DA I did an 11.7@137MPH on a way slower setup and got booted. My friend who has a cage did a 10.5@142mph in 6000' DA on the same track a year later and my car was faster at that time. Recently I was testing traction control on the 1/8mile and nearly got booted on low boost with a [email protected] that's all the info I have on that lol. All launches are like 2sec 60' which is garbage...definitely not getting out of the hole and I run street tires so if I switched to a drag setup I would definitely break things.
I have upgraded axles from driveshaftshop and that's it...I may get a taller rear end next race as I'm bouncing off the limiter in 5th when I cross the cones at .5mile mark @182mph (8500rpm redline and tall tires). I want to hit 185+ next event...switching to 6th drops my speed so I need to keep out of it.
I also track this car frequently and it's completely daily driven with full interior...so there will be no cage or anything like that in it's future.
Ever have any problems with the subframe tearing? I thought that was a common problem on the E46... Not to mention you're producing a shitload of power...
