Kind of in topic, but maybe not:
Anyone live/know of anyone that lives in Symons Gate? How do you/they like it? I'm really tempted to snatch a lot on their first phases as I like the community and the surroundings.
Worth it? the morrision homes are
Don't know much about it, but i'm thankful that we didn't sell our home in sage hill and buy one in symons gate. We drive to symons gate a lot and it's starting to feel congested. Also, i don't really think the prices have come down. Maybe it's the area
You're right, Morrison homes are nice. We saw the "Jefferson" model and i found it to be pricey at $640,000 with under 2400 sq ft.

Yeah, the prices haven't really gone down from the first time we looked. I don't understand how!
We are in love with the "Henderson" and not sure if we want to bite the bullet because of hesitation's about the community and keeping its value.
We currently live in Sage Hill and wouldn't mind an upgrade.
GO FLAMES GO!
Holy sheet went here yesterday. City Market was PACKED - people were parking on the street?? We just went to the Walmart and it wasn't very busy, thank goodness. Still a good amount of foot traffic in there though. Cantaloupe for $2.47.
I hate the layout of City Market, way too crowded. Anytime I stopped to look at or pickup something, I was immediately in someone's way and felt like I had to rush.
yeah I'm hoping it's because it was opening weekend and they had one of the radio stations there. cuz god damn it was packed and the self-checkout needed a cashier to enable the debit/credit machine for some reason.Originally posted by suntan

I went Thursday and Saturday night and it was pretty busy both times. I am hoping it dies offOriginally posted by ArjayAquino

I remember going to walmart when it opened and it was a ghost town. Wasn't around for sobeys opening though, but I have never seen it as busy as city market is.
As long as Walmart has all the cash register open, i have no problem if it's busy.

I went 9:05am that day and couldn't find parking even all the way up to the unopened pho place. People were parked all along the street and I think there was maybe 2 or 3 that even parked on shagOriginally posted by schocker

It attracted a lot of Chinese people with the $10 gift card. I heard some old Chinese guy ask customer service at city market where is his gift card.Originally posted by jwslam

Also watch out on shag, yesterday when I left at like 7:15, there were cops doing radar from the turn out from sobeys onto shag looking at people coming southbound.
I went to City Market on a weekday morning and it was packed. I had high hopes but was not overly impressed by anything it had to offer. The best part is hitting 3 round-abouts in a row just to get there Will save my pennies and stick to the Walmart down the street. I do miss having a Safeway in this neck of the woods though.
Sobey's at Nolan. They offer the exact same pricing according to their amalgamated flyer.Originally posted by Cooked Rice

Thought I'd provide an update. Construction is at full
Steam, there is a McDonalds that should be opening soon, timmy's is there as well, and a couple of very big structures, one looks like a professional centre or something, and looks like a structure for London drugs. Anyone know who all the tenants are?
Thanks for sharing, damn the full build out is massive, traffic will be ridiculous.

What's with all the trenching work up around Creekside and in Evanston via under the roadways?
