    we bought most of our xmas crap in long increments throughout the last 6 months, so the bills that came in Jan almost as per any other month of the year

    No hangover on the credit card at all. Online shopping for Christmas presents all fall, and no major extra expenses over the holidays.

    Mine December bill was about $4800, but none of it was presents, well maybe $135 if you consider a new basic windows phone for wife, wasn't really a present as I just bought it for her mid December. $1250 from Chriopractor for me and my wife, but fully reimbursed. My bill any given month is 3k...so really no different this month if it wasn't for the chiro bill.

    Yes, I went a bit crazy. I got a new set of winters and booked a vacation, plus gifts and Boxing Day buys

    7K...but like above most of it was for me

    I got a great deal on a mattress and some office furniture. The other big expense was lots of dinners with people coming to town.
