    Absolutely LOVE racing in the rain. ABS only, no TC, no Stability Control in my C63 Black Series. Just gotta find creative lines, smooth throttle/brakes/steering, and some quick countersteer action. A steering wheel helps too.

    Racing P1 Audi at night at Spa is ridiculous haha. Absolutely no view. Getting much more accustomed to my wheel though which is good.

    Hey Rage, did you need to pay additional duty/taxes on your Fanatec gear when you brought it in? Or just their quoted shipping fee?

    I did the endurance race at Sebring today. 82 laps in the rain. I hate rain. It took me 3 hours of actual racing time, plus rewinding time and breaks due to frustration. For some reason even though I don't have gas and tires set on simulation, the AI cars pit anyway. And you can't rewind when someone is in the pit. And since it's a multiclass race, and you're the fast class, you're always running over the slower cars. I hate rain so much. Oh, and if no one is in the pit and you're able to rewind, for some reason the camera won't always be looking forward. So when you go to play again you'll probably end up off the track because you can't see where you're going.

    On the plus side, my Peugeot affinity went from 0 to 25 all at once. I had the "start in 22nd" and "+60% XP" mods on.

    I did the Nurburgring one too the other day. It was only about an hour though.

    I like formula 1 as it let's you save part way through a race. I do 1/2 distance so 45ish min. I never have time to set there that long.

    Well, I now own an Xbox One just because it has Forza and PS4 has nothing good for racing games.

    Anyone realize that fuel consumption is ridiculous in this game? Was racing on the Le Mans with an SLK and the car died with 50km on the Odo which is 4.5 laps...

    ^ Yea i noticed that i was down to 3/4 after 5 or 6 laps of Lime Rock in the M235i, never noticed fuel consumption before in previous games. Honestly though driving flat out for 20+ minutes doesn't really surprise me. Yous sounds a little bit much but i don't know how big of a tank an SLK has. Those WOT stretches on le mans must be brutal...

    I used to go through 4 tanks of gas in a track day in my SLK. It'd take about 40 mins of driving to go through a tank. But ya, at Le Mans, way more WOT than Race City lol.

    At the Nurburgring a tank of gas lasts 2 laps, and you need to go easy on lap 2.

    Did the Nurburgring 125 again today. So much fun. Need all 8 laps to get past everyone at the second highest difficulty setting.

    You guys try the Caparo T1? It's awesome at the ring. So much grip!

    ^^I really concentrated my time on the XTS
    Caparo is fun though, glad they finally added it.
    Also the new old race cars, finally the silver arrow to compete with the auto union.

    With the patch, there was a free Infiniti Qwhatever Coupe concept added also. Apparently the AI pulling away has gotten worse though.

    The latest content update for Forza Motorsport 6 has arrived! In addition to the Logitech G Car Pack, this update includes some notable improvements to Forza 6 and addresses some well-known issues in the game. This content update includes improvements to game features, updates and corrections to a number of cars and tracks in the game, as well as a brand new car – the 2015 Infiniti Q60 – available to all Forza 6 players at no additional charge.

    In short, there’s a lot happening with today’s update and, below, we break it all down for you. Read on for the details!



    Cars



    · Corrected the engine sounds for the 2016 Ford Shelby GT350

    · Corrected issues with all of the V8 Supercars in the game, so that each car uses the correct engine sounds.

    · Improved the cockpit camera positioning for a number of cars in the game, including the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat, 2011 Lamborghini Gallardo LP570-4, 1971 Plymouth Cuda 426 and the 1970 Ford Escort RS1600 Fast & Furious edition, among others

    · We have addressed an issue with drivetrain swaps that was causing some cars (including well-known examples such as the 1968 Abarth 595 esseesse, the 1965 MINI Cooper S, and the 1975 FIAT X1/9), to perform beyond their PI classification. To coincide with this fix, we are performing a wipe of all leaderboard times set with a car that used a drivetrain swap. We expect the leaderboard wipe will happen Tuesday (10/6) afternoon. With this content update in place, cars that were previously banned from multiplayer will now be allowed back in. In addition times set in cars that feature drivetrain swaps will be allowed to post times to leaderboards.

    · Numerous additional car improvements and corrections



    Track Updates



    · ROAD ATLANTA: Removed an “invisible dip” that was appearing in the drift loop section of the track

    · MONZA: Fixed a bug that allowed players to gain an unfair advantage at the Ascari Chicane

    · TOP GEAR: Corrected several areas that were incorrectly “dirtying” players’ lap times



    Drivatars



    · We continue to investigate issues involving inconsistency in Drivatar behaviors during Forza Motorsport 6 races; namely several Drivatars pulling away from the rest of the pack. To coincide with this content update, we have instituted a server-side fix that we believe will help the issue as we continue to investigate further. Stay tuned for more in the future.

    · Fixed an issue where Drivatars were not taking damage when the player was driving with simulated damage turned on



    Livery Tune/Import



    · Fixed an issue where players could not import liveries from Forza Motorsport 5 that used certain characters, including the lower case “a” character

    · Corrected an issue where players’ saved tunes could not be applied to a car unless it was applied immediately after downloading it. With this fix, saved tunes can now be applied to cars at any point

    · Addressed an issue where downloaded tunes were missing front suspension settings.



    Achievements



    · We have corrected issues with the “World Traveler” achievement, which should now work as expected



    Pitting/Rewind



    · Fixed an issue where only a maximum of 2 AI cars could enter the pits at any time

    · Pitting will now fix headlight damage when simulation damage is turned on

    · Fixed an issue with rewind, where players could not rewind when AI cars were in the pits. With this fix, players will now be able to rewind, even when AI cars are pitted



    Mods



    · Using Boost Mods in a Career or Free Play race will now “dirty” your lap

    · Fixed an issue where Crew Mods modifiers would only work on the unique track specified on the card. Now Crew Mods modifiers will work as intended, with a general indicated performance increase on all tracks, and a specialized increase on the specified track

    · Fixed an issue where players would get the exact same Mods pack upon starting the game with a new profile

    · Power-related Mods are now applying the correct amount of additional power to all cars

    · Fixed an issue with the “Cockpit Camera/No HUD” Mod, whereby the HUD would reappear after doing a few practice laps.



    Multiplayer



    · Better League result reporting after each race, points earned displayed and access to the League Leaderboards in the Lobby

    · Added ability to order the grid by the previous best lap in Multiplayer. This change will be rolled out in the more competitive lobbies first

    · Some multiplayer hoppers will now allow the starting grid to roll off by row in order to help with the congestion in the first and second corners



    Miscellaneous



    · Prizes from Tombola spins will now be gifted to the correct player in splitscreen races

    · Fixed an issue with the mini map and the player location arrow when playing in Tag mode

    · Fixed an issue in Free Play where changing the assists in the pre-race menu would reset the Drivatar difficulty level

    · Changed Total Time in the “My Drivatar” menu to appear into days:minutes:seconds format

    · Fixed an issue where telemetry shows no data when viewing a replay directly after a race has finished

    · Fixed an issue where Drift scores report incorrectly, resulting in different leaderboards for different players

    · Fixed an issue where headlights would turn off and then on again after rewinding in a race

    · Fixed an issue where controller dead zones were resetting after completing a race

    · Fixed an issue with control mapping when a player has both a controller and a wheel connected to the Xbox One when starting Forza 6



    Free Car – 2015 Infiniti Q60



    In addition to the improvements and changes that have come with the latest content update for Forza 6, we’re also tossing in a bonus treat for fans: a free car for the month of October! This car – the 2015 Infiniti Q60 Concept – will be available to all Forza Motorsport 6 as a free car that players can download to their garage immediately after getting the content update.     Hopefully this fix works for me. Fucking frustrating always coming in 2nd place because 1st is just sooooo far ahead. Impossible to catch up to them.

    Glad to hear this one, was doing some messed up stuff the other day. Like forcing a 90 degree view of the car, every time i up shifted it would flash to a reverse view. lol

    Love the new wheel and playset btw. Honestly even i thought it was gimicky but the 6 speed shifter is almost the most satisfying part. Anyone looking into a wheel i definitely recommend picking up the shifter.

    Running the nurburgring rowing your own gears is just so satisfying.

    Side note, particularly directed at Cycosis. Have you noticed that none of the pre drilled holes work on the G920 pedals

    I have it screwed into just 2/6 right now as I cant get any to line up horizontally, there is one set that's close but 1-2 mm off so the machine screws wont take. Can definitely feel the flex so i will be probably drilling another set myself. That's my only qualm with the seat. Doesn't help my cause that there are no instructions included telling you how to mount pedals, the shifter mount came with sets of instructions for each brand of shifter. Nothing for pedals or even the wheel itself ( wheel was simple enough fortunately).

    Havn't received my seat. They accidentally shipped it somewhere in BC ahha. Supposed to come in today. That sucks about the pedal mounting though. How comfortable is the seat?

    Yea UPS is useless, he knocked on the door and left my shifter mount ( only) at which point i had to yell at and argue with the driver to give me my other package ( the chair ) which he begrudgingly found in the back of the truck

    Very comfortable though, i love it. The pedals is a weird thing. I still feel like I'm being stupid and not figuring it out but i tried every damn hole.

    Might put in a complaint to them so they stop advertising their mounts as fully compatible with G92/920 pedals...

    Oh well some measurement and a drill later the problem will be solved. Wish i still had access to a press haha.

    There most certainly are mounting points Only 3 along a horizontal plane. Thing is the mounting plate flexes quite a bit under braking. Gotta figure out how to stiffen it. The playseat is surprisingly comfy Haven't had a chance to do a race yet, maybe tomorrow.

    But look at it the top mounting screws aren't attached at all. You have it so far up the lever arm I'm not surprised at all that it has flex issues.

    The holes I used are the furthest left on the wing ( in the orientation of your picture) which allows a top screw and bottom screw and places the pedals about 4 inches lower which is more reasonable. It also positions the pedals further over in a way to allow your right foot to access both the accel and brake pedals with your left foot just for the clutch ( due to the location of the "steering column"). Depends if you are a left foot braker i guess but to close to the middle won't work at all for proper pedal use..

    If I do it certainly wasnt noticeable. What i did feel was a bit of side to side flex from only being mounted on the right side.
