I'll preface this with saying that I really am an idiot for speeding so much lately...no excuses but definitely bad luck was bound to catch up to me.
27 year old male. GDL license still (I just never bothered writing the exit test). Have 4 demerits on file for 2 speeding tickets (1 in sept 2013, and the other in sept 2014).
On sunday I got a speeding ticket heading to Lake Louise just past banff for going 27 over (3 demerits I Believe?)
And I just got one this morning on 17th ave, 65 in a 50 (2 or possibly 3 demerits).
Court date for the banff one is in Mid April, and the date for the one I got today is in just over a month.
Clearly I'm pretty fcked as 8 demerits and you get your GDL suspended.
I'll say that this was a wake up call to slow the fuck down. But I'm wondering if I can go get my full license before my court dates, and also possibly take a defensive driving course to reduce my demerits, so as to avoid getting my license suspended? Would they prevent me from taking my full license road exam if I have tickets pending?
