It's a Hennesey Velociraptor they were testing in BC. My roommate went back home and got to check them out filming.

From the pics above it looks like a normal silverado, maybe it is supercharged as hennessey makes upgrades for the sierra/silverado already?

The first episode of the season did yeah. They race across St Petersburg similar to the london race they ran a few years back (Car vs Bicycle vs Water vs Transit)

lol im sure they would get in quite a bit of trouble for that. James May got launched from a horse in the Patagonia Special, poor bastard bruised or broke 3 ribs. All filming past that inncident he looked extremely uncomfortable getting in/out of his Lotus.........i did honestly feel bad for him, and cudos to him for soildering on and finishing the filming.

I lolled pretty hard when they were doing the brake test... after the car stopped all you could see was a cloud of dust!

LOL the Stig part was bloody hilarious. The look on Clarksons face when the times showed up and Hammonds reaction about the "racing line" oh man.
