Auto repair shop recommendation

I need to replace the engine in a Subaru and looking for a recommendation for a shop. The dealer quoted $6500 for a 4 cylinder engine.

Just thought I remember reading from a Beyond recommendation, and I think manager is on Beyond. No personal experience myself.

Or if it's an older Subaru, do the research and see if you can easily put a JDM engine in, then get one from JDMsource.

I swapped one from them into a '98 impreza outback sport for less than $1g. (Doing my own work of course)

If op could go online and trash a shop over a locknut that "supposedly" he left at a shop months before just imagine the drama an engine swap could cause.
