Q42021, damn that's a long time away from now.

Outside looks the same as the previous gen to me at first glance, but the interior looks dramatically improved which is where it needed it the most. Looks great.

Made in Germany now instead of Mexico, cool. Probably not great for freight & PDI though haha.

Where is it built? If US, then no implications other than bringing it to US standards. Most cars these days that’s usually trivial stuff like interior light and stickers. If built outside US/CAN/MEX, add import duty
Built in Germany. So bringing it to US standards then should just be the cluster, plus whatever bs stickers or recall letters they need from the manufacturer I'm thinking.

I'm not really a fan of the headlights at all. It looks... wrong to me. Like they're melting.

What’s with the tacky front strip LED? Trying to target the bullwinkle RAM, & suburban roof tent Jeep, market?

I’m not a fan. I like the dual screens but I want my climate controls to be knobs I can’t tell if it is. The front doesn’t look good the back looks the same. The hp and tq are nice but that’s less than a tune so it’s not surprising.

Not sure what people are complaining about. The new model literally looks exactly the same as the current one outside of a mild refresh on the front and rear. The interior is changed but the current interior with the infotainment system and climate controls mounted in the middle and bottom of the console is outdated and needed to be changed. Like others I also prefer buttons for climate control but the reality is that I put mine on auto and rarely ever touch the controls (I always laugh at people that constantly fiddle with the fan and temp when they have Auto climate control) it so a person like me wouldn't be overly inconvenienced. Not a fan of the little nub gear selector in Porsches and still not a fan of it in this application.

Front end looks kinda like Kia's new design language. Not that it's a bad thing.

LOL what point are you trying to make? That interior looks similar in design to the new MB and BMW as automakers are putting the infotainment system to the right of the instrument cluster. I don't love it but at least you don't have to look down at the infotainment system.

Was just a joke, tried to mix in Bryce harper's "clown question bro " from a few years back, I enjoyed it anyway lol.

I wonder what the MK8 could have been if VW didn't lose $40 billion to dieselgate...

What's better than a planet destroyer? May be a good idea for the next superbowl commercial
