Thumbs down Calgary Coachworks South/Richard Harcourt - Avoid these shady crooks

Brought my car in for insurance repairs on my driver door and fender on Feburary 11, 2015. They did a good job on the repairs, but upon picking up my car, they damaged a piece of my center console, bent and broke a piece i had vinyl wrapped, but since there is not any proof they did it, they aren't taking responsibility.

Richard Harcourt is the manager and the one who did my damage assessment, and when I brought up the issue, he turned into a rude prick and said they are not going to do anything about it since there isn't any proof, and if they did damage it, they would fix it before I came to pick up my vehicle. All this arrogant prick kept saying was to call my insurance company, and deal with them (which I have already done) as he is denying all fault and won't take responsibility.

Stay away from this shop and the shady crooks that own it!!

Just playing the devil's advocate here but why would they touch the center console when the repairs were completed on the door and fender?

Did you do the vinyl wrap on the interior yourself?

they did a quick interior detail, as there are wax residue all over my center console where the damage is.

I got it professionally wrapped by Curtis at Tint Tech.

I fail to see how they can break that piece from detailing the car, unless it was already broken in the first place and just held on poorly.

Detailer product loosened the glue that was holding it together from when wrap was installed (and clips broken)

Well imagine if instead of writing that letter to the editor, she just posts on a car forum for car enthusiasts. That's Kritafo.

Yup, you don't detail an interior by pulling at trim pieces like that or using wax

i had no issues here, but their interior detail was fucking garbage... shined the shit out of my uncoated leather, wrong product for sure... and a few months prior i spent 8 hours detailing it and getting the leather perfect
